A Short Bedtime Bible Story for Kids
Long ago, in the land of Israel, there was a young shepherd boy named David. He was small, but his heart was full of love for God.
One day, a giant named Goliath frightened everyone. He was so big and strong that the soldiers were too scared to fight him.
But David believed that God was with him.
He picked up five small stones from a river and carried his little sling. With great courage, David said,
“God will help me.”
When Goliath laughed at the small boy, David prayed and swung his sling.
The stone flew through the air and struck the giant. Goliath fell to the ground, and everyone cheered.
David had shown that faith in God is stronger than fear.

With faith, even the smallest person can do great things. Trust in God, and He will give you courage.
