๐Ÿ•Š️ Noah’s Ark: A Bedtime Bible Story for Kids

A Short Bible Story with Moral for Children

A long, long time ago, the world was filled with people who had forgotten to be kind. They hurt one another and did not listen to God. But there was one good man named Noah. He loved God and always tried to live a life of goodness.

One day, God spoke to Noah and said,
“The earth is filled with violence. I will send a great flood to wash it clean. But you and your family will be safe. Build a huge boat called an ark.”

Noah listened carefully. With faith in God, he began to build the ark, even though the sky was clear and people laughed at him. “Why build a boat when there is no rain?” they teased. But Noah trusted God more than the voices around him.

God told Noah to bring two of every animal into the ark—lions, elephants, giraffes, birds, rabbits, and even tiny insects. The animals marched in, two by two, while Noah’s family gathered food and water for them all. The villagers watched in surprise, but Noah kept working faithfully.

Then, dark clouds filled the sky. The wind howled, and heavy raindrops began to fall. It rained for forty days and forty nights. The rivers overflowed, the seas rose higher, and soon the earth was covered with water.

Inside the ark, Noah, his family, and the animals were safe. The ark floated gently on the waters while the storm raged outside. Every day, Noah prayed and thanked God for keeping them safe.

Finally, after many weeks, the rain stopped. The sun broke through the clouds, and the waters slowly began to go down. Noah sent out a dove to see if the land was dry. The dove returned with a fresh olive leaf in its beak. Noah knew that soon the earth would be ready again.

When the ark finally rested on dry ground, God spoke to Noah:
“Come out, you and your family, and let the animals run free.”

The lions roared, the birds sang, and the rabbits hopped with joy as they stepped onto the fresh green earth. Noah built an altar and thanked God for His protection.

Then, across the sky, God placed a beautiful rainbow.
“This rainbow,” said God, “is my promise that I will never again send a flood to destroy the earth.”

Noah and his family smiled as they looked at the rainbow. It was a sign of hope, love, and God’s everlasting care.

That night, Noah’s children went to sleep peacefully, knowing that God keeps His promises.
