The Owl Who Saved the Moon
๐ฆ๐ “The Owl Who Saved the Moon”
A gentle bedtime story about courage, friendship, and nighttime magic
In a quiet forest where the stars blinked like fireflies and the wind hummed lullabies, lived a little owl named Oru.
Oru wasn’t the biggest owl, or the loudest. He had soft feathers, wide eyes, and a heart full of questions.
Every night, he flew to the top of the tallest tree and whispered, “Goodnight, Moon.”
But one evening, the moon didn’t rise.
The sky stayed dark. The fireflies flickered nervously. The rabbits refused to sleep.
Oru flapped his wings and soared into the sky, searching for the moon.
He found her hiding behind a cloud, weeping.
“No one thanked me,” the moon sniffled. “I shine every night, but no one notices.”
Oru blinked. “I notice. I say goodnight to you every single night.”
The moon peeked out. “You do?”
Oru nodded. “And tonight, I’ll help everyone say thank you.”
So he flew across the forest, gathering animals big and small.
Together, they sang:
“Moon so bright, moon so kind, You light our dreams and calm our mind. We thank you now, with hearts so true, For every night you shine on through.”
The moon smiled, glowing brighter than ever. The stars twinkled in delight.
From that night on, every creature in the forest whispered “thank you” before bed.
And Oru? He became the forest’s official bedtime helper.
